A Solid Foundation

In Matthew 7:24-27, Jesus exhorts us to build our faith upon a solid foundation. This past Sunday, our high school seniors reflected on these words as they led worship for our annual Youth Sunday. One young man, Zach Spangler, shared with us what our Church has meant to him.

“The Church is the rock that we can depend on, though our personal rains and floods, it is our unified belief in the gospel that provides us foundation. Throughout my life in the Church, I’ve been able to develop long lasting, meaningful relationships with those around me. Through Sunday school, the annual camping trip, and every youth event, the Church has surrounded me with influential peers, devoted to grounding me and flourishing my growth. “

This is what we are committed to continue to foster in the heart of our Church family. Similarly, we are committed to ensure that the capital project provides our Church that solid foundation to continue to be a place of community, stability, earnest study, and faithful service.
