FPC Building Committee is “On the Way”

The FPC Building Committee is charged with leading plans to make sure our physical footprint in Atlanta is ready for our third century of ministry. John McColl, Executive Vice President of Development at Cousins Properties and long-time FPC member and Trustee Emeritus, chairs the team.  Other team members include Senior Pastor Tony Sundermeier as well as long-time FPC members Mary Claire Allvine (Trustee Emerita), Jim Hasson (Trustee Emeritus), and Ben Hudgins (Elder). The Committee also includes FPC staff, who bring an operational perspective to the team. These members are Molly Faircloth (Chief Administrative Officer), Craig Anderson (Director of Facilities), and (until she retires) Peggy McCurdy (Director of Accounting). We’ll be spending time over the next few months getting to know members of the Committee as well as the development team who will deliver our Capital Project.

The team is currently finalizing the selection of a General Contractor who will be responsible for the renovations and improvements to the Smith Building. A General Contractor (often referred to as a “GC”) is responsible for executing all aspects of construction from start to finish. Watch this space to learn more about the selected team and project.
