Honoring Our Trees: A Legacy of Sustainability and Renewal

As part of our Capital Project, several trees along Peachtree Street were removed to create a more accessible and welcoming church entrance. In our commitment to sustainability, we partnered with Midtown Alliance to plant ten new trees in the community, ensuring a lasting impact on our neighborhood’s tree canopy. Additionally, the legacy of these trees will live on through custom-crafted furniture by Whitney Wolf of the Jack Ellis company, preserving their history in a meaningful way. Our Capital Project team recently met with Whitney to discuss options for creating special pieces for the church, and we look forward to sharing updates on this exciting progress.
